The MM Acoustics W15 is a 15″ coaxial stage monitor, which is used in mobile and installation applications.
The compact speaker, which weighs only 19.5 kg, achieves an extremely high peak sound pressure level of 134 dB for its size.
The W15 is equipped with European premium OEM components that can withstand high loads (LH & HF: 500 W AES/ 1000 program / 2000 W peak @ 8 ohms). Coupled with the sensitivity of 98 dB 1w/1m, these lead to a very high maximum level of 134 dB. Nevertheless, the dimensions of W: 500 mm, H: 340 mm, D: 440 mm are very compact.
The frequency response of the 15″ coaxial stage monitor covers the range between 60 Hz – 20 KHz (-3 dB).
The dispersion of the speaker is horizontal 80°, vertical 60°.
The housing is made of multiplex beech and has a moisture and UV-resistant black Warnex textured finish in RAL9005. The system can also be supplied in other RAL colors on request. The front is protected by a stable metal grille with foam backing. With protection against dust and splash water, the speaker is also suitable for temporary outdoor use.
When designing the crossover, attention was paid to the use of audiophile components. These enable excellent feedback behavior and amazing precision.
